Our AMA Clinic is initiating telehealth services in Lynn MA to ensure all care is provided to patients whenever possible within the safety of their own homes in MA.

 

Telehealth is using communications technology to deliver health care at a distance so you can see your doctor for a live video consultation using your smartphone, desktop, or tablet.

  • How do coronavirus symptoms compare to common cold symptoms?
    Common signs of COVID-19 are more severe symptoms like cough, shortness of breath, fatigue and fever. And nasal congestions, sore throat and runny nose are symptoms of the common cold.
  • How long is coronavirus contagious?
    Based on NEJM COVID-19 may be stable for several hours in aerosols and for several hours to days on surfaces. Scientists from National Instittes of Health, CDC, UCLA and Princeton University who participated in the analysis found SARS-CoV2 was detectable in aerosols for up to 3 hours, copper up to 4 hours, cardboard up to 24 hours and plastic and stainless steel up to 2-3 day.
  • Can I get tested if I don't have any symptoms?
    No test is recommended for COVID-19 asymptomatic patients based on current guidance.
  • Can I receive a prescription via telehealth visit?
    During COVID-19 pandemic patients will be provided all necessary prescriptions via telehealth virtual visit.
  • Can I keep my routine medical appointment if I don't have any symptoms of COVID-19?
    All non-COVID -19 appointments will be held via telehealth virtual visit.
  • Which health care services are you providing during COVID-19 outbreak?
    All necessary medical services will be provided.
